Minli is a young girl who is living in old house with her parents. Her family is very poor. It’s about the magical journey of Minli to find the Old Man living in the Moon to ask him what she can do to family’s fortune.
This book was very interesting. It has multicultural contents that is beautifully collaborated as a magical fairytale. This book reminds me of the story that my grandmother told me when I was young. Almost like the conveyed story that was told my the ancestors. This book is great for middle age children who has multicultural backgrounds. I think this book represents every characters very beautifully, with aspects of diversity.
