Leo is a house ghost. When we think of ghost, we think it’s scary thing. But Leo is a friendly ghost who loves to make snacks and draw. People mostly can’t see him because he is a ghost. One day, new family moves into Leo’s home and Leo was so excited to meet new friends. But new family got scared of Leo’s kindness, because the fact that they couldn’t see him. Leo was sad, so he left his home. After leaving his home, Leo meets Jane, who is brave, naive and loves to try new thing. They become great friends, and they begin their adventure together as a friend.
This book has imaginary character that does not exist in our real world. Many children has their imaginary friend once in their childhood. I think this book can support children’s naive heart and grow their imagination. Illustration is simple but strong. This book honors diversity of other world adventure, and I think that is what children really need in there young stage of life.
