What would happen if human can become friend with animals?
Amos McGee is a zookeeper who is friend with animals in the zoo. He takes good care of his little animal friends, and always there when animals need some help. One day, Amos McGee couldn’t make it to Zoo because he got very sick. Animal friends got worried. They took bus to Amos’ house to visit him. At his house, Amos McGee spends time with his visitors.
The winner of The Caldecott Medal, this book has heart warming story of love and friendship of naive animals and their human friend. This picture book has won the best award that children’s literature can get. And I think this book definitely match its reputation. Beautiful illustration with heart warming story that can teach children a great lesson.
My favorite book so far!
